Tea leaves handled before packingExport focus

We support importers, distributors, tea houses, hospitality buyers, and private-label teams with lot-level documents and shipment preparation.

Core Terms

Simple enough to start, structured enough to scale.

The terms below are designed for serious B2B buyers who need traceability, documentation, and reliable sample-to-bulk handoff.

MOQ

Flagship teas generally start from 1-5 kg depending on tea type. Sample quantities are lower for first evaluation.

Payment

First orders: 30% deposit with order confirmation, balance before shipment. Established terms can be reviewed after repeat business.

Lead Time

Sample dispatch and bulk lead time depend on lot availability, packing format, lab report timing, and buyer label requirements.

Documentation

The document pack matters as much as the tea.

For food importers, missing or unclear documents can block a good product. Build documentation into the buying flow from the first sample.

Quality Documents

  • Product specification sheet
  • Lot code and harvest note
  • SGS or Eurofins lab report
  • Pesticide and heavy-metal screening where applicable

Shipment Documents

  • Commercial invoice
  • Packing list
  • Certificate of Origin
  • Phytosanitary certificate when required

Buyer Inputs Needed

  • Destination country
  • Import label requirements
  • Target packaging format
  • Preferred Incoterm and shipping method

Packaging

Start practical, then build private label.

In early stages, test demand before investing heavily in custom packaging. Once the buyer repeats, packaging becomes a margin and brand tool.

Bulk

Vacuum or foil-packed bulk tea for importers and repackers who handle final branding locally.

Retail

100 g pouch, 30 g matcha tin, loose-leaf gift tin, or sample sachet depending on tea and market.

Private Label

Available for repeat buyers with confirmed volume, approved label requirements, and clear target market.

Shipment options

  • FOB Shanghai/Shenzhen for standard export orders.
  • Air freight for samples, urgent orders, and small premium lots.
  • Sea freight for larger stable-volume shipments.
  • Courier sample dispatch where destination rules allow.

Before requesting a quote

Prepare destination country, product interest, expected annual volume, target price range, packaging requirement, and any compliance requirements from your importer or local authority.
